Texas Southern University College of Liberal Arts and Behavioral Sciences (COLABS) is pleased to present the Theater Department’s production of “Where Were You in ’65?” This musical drama, written by our distinguished faculty member, Thomas Meloncon, is a nostalgic musical journey to a time when Black was Beautiful, and afros appeared on the scene.
“Where Were You in ’65?” will be presented on the TSU campus at 8:00 pm on April 20 and 4:00 pm on 21, 2013 and at the Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Memorial Park 8:00 pm on April 26, 2013.
Proceeds from “Where Were You in ’65?” will be used to support scholarships and other unique transformative programs for the students in the College of Liberal Arts and Behavioral Sciences (COLABS).
Consider placing an ad in the playbill for “Where Were You in ’65?. An ad allows you to reach over 3600 viewers. It can be a business card; specialized business advertisement; photos; congratulatory, best wishes and other caring phrases to the cast; etc. It opens your business up to thousands of potential new customers, and it is a wonderful keepsake.
Design the ad in a Microsoft format using Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher. Save the document as a picture file (.jpg or .pdf). Email it to email@example.com or turn it in to Dr. Carla Brailey on a flash drive or CD. Please be sure your ad is proof ready. We will not be able to make any changes. You are encouraged to pay for your ad via online at www.tsu.edu/65 or make a payment with a cash, check, or credit card with a representative of the planning committee.
